Everyones going Gaga...

Hi everyone,

I saw the new Lady Gaga video "Telephone" today and as I liked the make up a lot I made some screen-shoots in order to try to recreate them (especially the eyeliner!!!). I might as well share them and my thoughts ;-) I´m not very much into Lady Gagas music but she sure has sense of style and make up artists I would gladly kidnapp so they only style me ;-)

Beyonces yellow eye-shadow! I allways try to sneak in a little yellow eye-shadow to my eye-make up as it brings out the greenish parts of my eyes so well. I have never used it to such an extend though. A very playfull and fresh look!

Actually a very basic pin up eye make up as I do it for my dayly make up, buuuuuut I never make my eye-liner wings that loooooooong and thick. Could be worth a try though!

Trivia: Did you know that in the late 60s it was quiet common to use tins for setting your hair? Think about sleek flips. Makes sense, right?!

This is also a nice make up that I could imagine for daily wear. Sort of 50s high fashion.

Definitive no day-wear but it sure looks damn good in pictures. Possibly even in black and white photos or for that raunchy 1930s party.

Actually I should do a post on Gwen Stefanis Video stylings over the years as well as she allways has such a cute retro-look going on.... What do you think?
