Somebodys trash might be another ones treasure

Hi everyone,

As we drank a bit of Champagne this X-Mas my Mom bought a couple of pink plastic glasses for a few Euros. She wanted to throw them away after X-Mas but I stopped her! So now two of them are gracing my little vanity table and hold scissors, nail stuff and applicators. I have two more glasses and I´m sure I will find use for those as well!!! I also have a Tiki-Brezel holder and I think about what I could use it for (besides Brezeln). I have some pearl-necklaces that might look good on that one. hmmmmmm.....

Fleur de Guerre had a cool idea on how to store vintage jewelry in a blog some months ago (http://www.diaryofavintagegirl.com/2009/11/while-im-away-vintage-jewellery-storage.html) and I consider to steal this idea, given the chance that I find a cheap & cute cakestand. I rarely wear my jewelry cause it is stored away in a box. So.... recycling rocks! Giving old things a new life rocks! Life rocks! ;-)
