Novelty Folklore Love - Trying to distract myself with color

Hello everyone,

I struck gold with this vintage novelty skirt featuring some traditional black forrest scenery and can´t wait until it arrives! I am so going to rock this with my sheer black blouse!


And it makes me think "Gosh I need to start to sew some of my own things again!!!" A sewing project would be just the right thing to distract me from beeing miserable. If only I would find the energy to get started and order something :-(

I have a few candidates I would like to sew up to some cute and different clothes...

my page views in Germany went UP to an enormous degree so at lease short postings will be bi-lingual now :-)

As you all know Iam rather a novelty myself so of course I love unusual stuff. And stuff whose existence was forgotten in the first place....

Wie alle von euch wissen bin ich selber eine ziemliche Kuriosität, also liebe ich natürlich ungewöhnliche Sachen. Und Sachen von denen wir vergessen haben, das es sie überhaupt gibt...

Was aussieht als wäre es einem besonders verrücktem Professor geklaut worden ist eigentlich eine kleine Vase für Gänseblümchen....

Und was so aussieht als würde es an ein Bettelarmband gehören ist eigentlich....

...meant to be put on you cocktail glas to mark that this is yours! (and the spears... well, we still use spears for cocktails and little snacks)

....dafür da um an dein Cocktailglas gehängt zu werden damit du weisst, das es deins ist (und die dazugehörigen Spiesschen benutzt man ja immernoch für cocktails und kleine Snacks)

This is one of the very few reasons why I look forward to winter! I love this cardi. It is nice and cuddle, it has the cutes Angora Scottys on it and the buttons are LITTLE BOWS!!! I bought it two years ago in a Swedish Second Hand Shop!
