A cuuuuute hat by Tate Milinery

Hello everyone,

I got the cutest hat from Tate Milinery. Look at this little beauty! It is sooooo cute and looks perfect for fall!

A very important aspect: It looks exactly like on the pictures in the online shop! I mention that because sometimes things are a slightly different color in real life. Based on the hat I can say: Not danger for that. Those little beautys look exactly the way they are displayed.

The pictures from the shop:

Photos that I took of them in real life:

"It´s about time that women wear hats again. My fascinators and headpieces want to be worn for the world to see. They are handmade with a lot of love and inspired by hats from the 1920s - 1960s" states Karen, the founder of Tate Milinery and it is true. One can tell they are really made with love. I LOVE vintage hats, but rarely wear them out because I am scared they might get damaged (sun, rain, you name it). I am more confident about reproductions because they are no as fragile.

Not only the top is pretty. The backside it just as lovely. I appreciate little details like that.

There are maaaany more hats in Karens Online shop.

This is only about half of them and I am sure you will find something you love! Personally I hope to have a shooting where I can wear this cutie soon!!! Thank you Karen for this lovely, pretty hat <3 br="">

Things of beauty!

Hello everyone,

the new year started and I haven´t blogged for 10 days. Why? Sick and busy. It only took over two weeks to overcome the horrible cold I was having. And busy, busy work days in addition to that!

Well, but I won´t bore you with how busy and sick I was... I rather show you.... Some things of beauty!

I went to Stuttgart last weekend for a lovely Dirndl Shooting and I spent the night with the lovely and beautiful Ms. Lili Marleen! Technically we´ve known for 6 years or so - but only over the Internet. Considering how long we´re pin uping (and she: burlesque-ing) around we are Germanies Pin up Grandmas. It really was a great stay! And I hope to see her again soon!

Little me in big Stuttgart

Enjoying a huuuuuuuuge and yummy breakfast in the Grand Cafe Planie, a verrrrry beautiful place!!!!!

I attended my first fleamarket this year. I went over it once - found nothing. When I left I spotted this freaky green hat. I guessed it would be darn expensive, but asked for the price anyway. Only 10 €!!! Iam not sure it will actually suit me and I have nothing to go with it, but that was a bargain too good to resist!!! The sales lady said someone remarked to her he/she has seen Marlene Dietrich wearing a similar hat in a movie! If anyone knows the movie, please point me into the right direction! Would love to see.

You just spotted something yellow? Those are ear rings one of my fantastic work mates gave to me. Have I lately mentioned that I have the worlds greatest work mates in my day job?????

Minus having been sick a great start for the year!!! :-)

Rose Patricia Milinery - As seen on Guten Abend RTL

Hello everyone,

when I received my beautiful custom made couture hat by Rose Patricia Milinery I KNEW that I really have to make some photos wearing it. It is such a delicious and well made piece it would have been a shame not to!!!!

If you want to see more of her wonderfull creations you should absolutely visit her website: http://rosepatriciamillinery.bigcartel.com/ every hat is hand made by professional miliner Rosa. She learned her craft from Rose Corey, former miliner of Queen Mom (yes. that Queen Mom!) and thus her designs are truely fit for a little pin up queen ;-)

The photos were taken and photoshopped by Dennis Steinhoff from http://www.digitalart-steinhoff.de last weekend. Keep your eyes peeled for more beautiful photos from this session with all the outfits I wore on "Guten Abend RTL" and more :-) (wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy more)
