50er bis 70er Jahre Markt Cologne + WDR

Hello everyone,

Part 1 of the "Inofficial Sari Tour" is over! I was at the 50s market in Cologne. Yay! The prices of the different stalls were somewhere in between sky rocketing high (120 € for a simple headvase I can order for waaaaay less on ebay USA- come one!!!!) to reasonable. We went for the reasonable things ;-)

Off course I also visited "Rock ´n Hair" while I was there.....

Sari flyers, Sari book covers and Sari taking a photo of a table full of Saris.... Later on a workmate joined us and he was like "What the heck is going on here????" I don´t really tend to tell a lot about my modelling at work. :-)

I just arrived and drank a tin of prosecco with Viola (we are classy ladies after all ;-) when suddenly a gentleman from WDR television came by and started filming the stall.... So we gave him something to film.... First Viola fixed my make up - it was so hot we technically melted!

than Paula took a photo of me with a 1950s polaroid camera. You can see it at WDR Lokalzeit at 19:30 tonight. If you miss it - no worries it´ll be online later (plus I try to record it, too!!!)

50s Market Cologne and The "Inofficial Sari Tour"

ure, some of the sellers take crazy prices, but I allways made some great bargains anyway!!! So - I will be there!

And the ladies of Rock ´n Hair just told me they are going, too and sell the book there. If you buy a book and see me there I´ll happily sign my cover for you ;-) (or if you have it and bring it for that matter). If anyone wants to meet up for some shopping that is ev

en better! So feel free to contact me and we hunt treasures together!!!!! :-) If you wanna shop with me and John meet me at 11:00 at the market!

The 50s market

The 50s market was cool and I saw a lot of well-kown faces as well as new ones. However it didn´t take long to seperate our pin up/photographer group as it was damn full! 

I forgot my camera at home and exept a guy that photographed me with Arthur (you remember: He runs "Aristocutz" and is the only coiffeur whose scissor is allowed to touch my hair) and said it would be for a newspaper, but it never showed up, no other pictures of me where taken. However John says everyone adored my Trashy Diva dress in blue (or at least the amazing cleavage it makes ;-)  I really consider to get it in red as well as it is still up for sale...



I bought a new small lamp for my vanity, a bretzel-holder and a huuuuuge white and red feather fan. I´m still sad I didn´t get the 2nd one to match, but they were expensive and someone was quicker than me and bought it. The fan I HAVE is however beautifull and has marabou-feathers so soft and they swing so nice when you move it.

Today the hats arrived and they look even cuter in person. I hope to make photographs with me wearing them soon. :-) 

I´m surprised about how many people read my blog and never reply ;-) No matter if I meet a photographer, or a model, or a journalist or whatever they know what I´m up to. And well, that´s the purpose of the blog after all! After all I don´t want to be a distant untouchable person rather your girl next door.

Here is a sneak peek on Ditas wonderbra collection. It looks fab and I love the idea of an over-wire bra. I have an over-wire swimsuit from the 50s and it has no neckholders. It never fell down or didn´t supports my boobies ever. However my problem with wonderbras: As a solid D-Cup I don´t really need one! 50s market & spiders

So I came home this afternoon. I laid down on my bed to take a little nap and guess what I saw! I big reddish-brown spider on my boobs :-o Now I love all kinds of animals, but I really suffer arachnophobia. So I jumped up screaming. John didn´t get what was going on at first as he was doing his sport-routines. After I screamed and jumped around for a while he finally got it and removed the evil little thing. I´m scared of my bed now.

So right now I work on my online-shop. I have a hard time choosing beautifull stuff. I got a wholesale entry at Kiss me Deadly and Ars Vivendi so I´ll be stocking some hooooot sets and stockings ;-) However I start out small for now with a very selected selction ;-)

Besides I really look forward to the 50s market that I´ll attend on Sunday. If you are located in Germany and have nothing to do check this out: http://www.50er-festival.de/ and it is next to Colognes Choclate-Museum.... ;-) I plan to look for a little lamp that I can put next to my computer screen and a little seat preferably in yellow or green to put it infront of my vanity. (And fab clothes off course and magazines and hair-acessoires and shooting props and.... well....and....) There will also be oldtimers and music. If you happen to see me: Say hi!

And I intend to test a online videorecorder so I can record the docu on RTL Punkt 12 immediately when it is shown... LEt´s see if I figure it out!
