I bought new make up this week so I did a test make up today..... What I used for the make up: P2 Eye Souffle (discontinued), P2 Brilliant Shine Eye Cream cheeky copper, Alverde New Red Blush, Lipstick Trendy Coral

What can I say... I love the Alverde blushes (super pigmented, can also be used for photoshootings!!!), the lipstick and the P2 Brilliant Shine eye cream and will use it often!
as we did nothing for our birthdays earlier this week we figured we go watch a Burlesque Show at Nomi Düsseldorf instead. Is there a better reason to totally get dolled up? If there is I don´t know it, yet...
I got the chance to test a new eye shadow (Groovy Pink) of mine as a blush which is from the recent P2 Cirque de Beaute Limited edition. Looks lovely on, so if the colour is too vibrant for you - just try it a s a blush :-) It gives a nice glow and is way stronger than you can see on the photos. Decidedly a new fave!

here is my little test make up using the Professional Smokey Eyes Kit in Gorgeous Night Blue by Manhattan New York Royalz Limited Edition. As predicted the colours rock, exept for the barely there white one, but that´s ok :-)
And we ate Waffles at Hanni´s 60er Jahre Café in Neuss. Yummy!!!

The white one doesn´t thrill me, but maybe it will look more visible with an eye base, the other colours look fantastic. The matte turqouise really pops, the dark blue is a little greyish with a little shine and the grey... well, is a shiny grey :-) Can´t wait to try!
Der weisse haut mich nicht vom Hocker, aber vielleicht sieht er mit einer Eye Base nach mehr aus, das matte Türkis knallt richtig rein, das Blau geht ein bisschen ins graue und schimmert ein wenig und das Grau ist... Grau und schimmert schön :-) Kann es kaum erwarten die Farben zu testen!
It seems Germany put itself into a little Oktoberfest Fever.... Now I´ve never been there and probably will never go and I don´t even like beer, but I got me some lovely knicknacks...

I like it. No shimmer, no glitter, just purel baked blush that I can either dose for daily use or just add a little more to make it shooting-appropriate.
Ich mag es. Kein Schimmer, kein Glitzer, nur pure gebackene Farbe die ich entwederfür den täglichen Gebrauch nutzen kann oder einfach mehr nehmen kann um es Shooting tauglich zu machen.
Trivia: Most German women, including myself have never worn a Dirndl.
Off course an Oktoberfest post wouldn´tbe complete with some Original Traditional Jodelling (Techno):
I tested the Alverde "my perfect Day" Palette in Glamour Deluxe.
I used the eye-shadows, the blush and the lightest of the red glosses.
Overall I like it. I´m not impressed with the lip-brush - a thinner and more precise one would have helped. I didn´t bother with the sponge applicator for the eye shadow at all. The rest is really nice. I will sure take along the palette for many ocassions. The bow with the veil and the top with bows are things I bought at H&M yesterday. They have a lot of cute stuff at the moment.
Alverde had new additions to their regular make up line and just released a new limited edition named "My perfect day". As a big fan of Alverde I couldn´t wait to get it into my hands... For now I tested:
Anti-Aging Puder Lidschatten Basis (regular line): I tested it with mixed results. With one eye shadow it worked, with another one it didn´t and went into the crease. It mattifies the eye area nicely, but I can´t tell how anti aging it it. I don´t have that manywrinkles on top of my eyes :-D It seems to work with the Shiny duo Eye Shadow and other Alverde Eye Shadows, but it didn´t with my Viva la Diva Eye Shadow.
Anti Aging Duo Highlighter (regular line): I love it. I use it on my eyes rather than all over my face eventhough I mixed the cream base with some cream blush and loved the result (it is not very visible in the photos though - which is good as I don´t go for a "greasy face" effect). It has a creamy base and a powder to go with it.I HATE the packaging for the powder though. It is too hard to open and you might get the powder part all over your clothes. No yay for that. I
hope they´ll work on that!
Shiny Duo-Lidschatten Black Diamond
(Alverde "my pefect day" Limited edition): It is a cream eyeshadow with some Eyeshadow powder combined. I put it in my eye-crease. The powder sets it nicely so it stays where it´s spposed to stay :-) Unfortunately: The same problem as the Duo Higlighter: The packaging for the powder sucks. I got a lot of it all over my dress :-(
Mineral Rouge in Cherry (regular line - not pictured on the Make up photos): A very high pigmented and really red blush! I love it. You have to be carefull though or you will look like a clown. Perfect for Photoshooting Make up!!!
I also got me the Glamour make up palette from the "My perfect day" Limited edition. I will test it on my blog soon...
I wear the gloss P2 Color Star Lip Cream in "Marlene Dietrich". I love the good coverage it gives, the color and off course... the name ;-)
