Iam a German 40s/50s/60s Pin up Girl, Retro Addict and Weirdo. I love make up, to craft, do photoshootings and collect vintage clothes/ lingerie. In my blog you can read all about it, mashed up with my thoughts about fashion/styling.
Iam not too well. Turns out I might be allergic towards kiwis and even touching them makes me get a strong allergic reaction. For two days I barely left the house because I look horrible. And I don´t mean a few red spots here and there. Belive me.... So Iam screening online shops and find beautifull things. And right now I like anything vibrant and great necklines...
Francine dress available on www.ars-vivendi.de
Miss Loretta Blouse by Able Grable. www.ablegrable.com. Seriously. Who doesn´t love a red head dressed in green?
Rock Steady Top Chloe available on www.buy-unlike.com I find those Peter Pan Collar tops allways very handy. Cute and can be worn alone or under a dress with too much cleavage.
The Viv dress. Soon available on www.pinup-parade.com (and really only there!)
Fonda Bra by What Katie did www.whatkatiedid.com Available in November.
Here´s another photo from the AbleGrable Shooting. Jiphie :-)
I´m busy planning new shoots right now. Something Hollywood Glamour, something Outdoor Fashion and (if we manage to find the date) a latex one. So you could say something for every taste ;-)
I just don´t wanna sit on my ass before the Jolie fashion spread. I heard that the layout looks good, but instead of relief I´m even more nervous now. I discovered that it´ll be released at the Easter-weekend when I´m at my Moms place, so probably I will force her boyfriend to drive me to town so I can pick it up! Possibly me, my Mom and my aunt will party :-D I do not think that any German pin up girl ever got so many pages in a fashion magazine (I could be wrong - if so correct me) so this is really a very very big deal for me and so exiting!
"At the time of World War Two if you were hot just like like Betty Grable you'd be called an Able Grable." This is what Miss Matilda writes on her website www.ablegrable.com
In the past year she has worked hard on her brand and her range of beautifull dresses and I admired her work since the very start, so Iam very happy that I got the opportunity to model her new cutom piece "Ready Hedy", a beautifull house dress in black! (there will also be a yellow version displayed on her website worn by house-model Amanda aka Jitterbugdoll). Believe me when I say it is one of the most comfortable dresses to lounge around in!
The photos were taken by Hans DuEngel.
And off course you can check out the beauty of the dress in more detail in my latest video! You also get to see me not only as a hungry housewife, but also dressed up as a sailor (giving the worst accordeon-performance you ever saw - how come that lately all photographers own instruments???), as a singer, in a peacock outfit and sporting the underwear as outerwear look in a retroish catsuit version.
Hush, hush, go and order "Ready Hedy" now!!!!! :-)
