Do the Smith

Another Photo from last weekends shooting. We were almost done shooting when Dirk asked me whether I know that classic pose that Anna Nicole Smith did for the H&M commercial and if I´d mind giving that a try. Off course I said yes (otherwise there would be another photo here :-)

I like positive surprises the most!

This morning I woke up and found this wonderfull photo made by au-contraire in my mailbox! We shot last summer, so imagine my surprise to get another beautifull photo from our session <3

I wanna give you candy - Making off with Au Contraire

It took a while to find the perfect background-track.... But than I had "Mambo Italiano" by Rosemary Clooney in my ear all day, got me a Best of 50s compilation and there Rosemary Clooney was again - alas with another song. I took this as a sign that this IS MY BACKGROUND TRACK! ;-)

It´s summer and the bees are busy!

Hi everyone,
I´m glad to say that Iam very busy this July! I hate it when nothing happens for a while. That´s booooooring! But now it seems that things are back on track!
Yesterday I shot with Au Contraire and I already have two beautifull photos I can share with you!!!
The cakes are actually.... FAKE. I know they look damn real, but if I were you I wouldn´t try to eat them ;-)

Aachen is close to the Netherlands and Belgium so I was in three countries during one day (ok, we crossed a little part od the Netherlands and my mobile phone got a welcome message from there) and the little river you see is actually in Belgium. Despite the hot weather it was F*CKING COLD! And off course the first thing I saw while I was standing in the river was a HUGE dead fish caught in the sea-weed! The poor thing! I removed if with a stick cause I was frightened to drift and flood into it. There exists a Making of photo, but I do not have that one yet :-D

This Sunday I will drive all the way to Karlsruhe and back for a shooting for Diamonds lingerie. I´ll be driving, shooting and waiting for my train for 16 hours. Oh well, the price you pay for modelling.

And in a week the Voices of Fashion in Düsseldorf start again and I´ll try to do as many cool things as I can! So far Iam booked for a shooting and to walk a catwalk (something I have NEVER done. But oh well, you know me. I think one has to try everything at least once to find out wether you like it or not. I like new experiences). I will list a schedule where you can find me once the event is closer.

Lace! And the Napoleon Bonaparte Adventure!

Hi everyone,

usually I have my Making off videos finished before I even get the first picture from a photoshooting back..... But than it was unusual conditions...

Yesterday Hady called me because a model cancelled a shooting with her. It was supposed to be in a castle and so she looked for a substitute. I said "HELL YES" as we wanted to shoot anyway (however we planned a outdoor shooting and the weather gods were against us). So I spend to rest of yesterday trying a new make up (I immediately KNEW I needed something artificial and doll-like, eventhough Hady made no specific demands which look I should go for - she told me to surprise her), packing stuff and preparing for the shooting.

This morning I got up reaaaaaally early, put on the make up and off I drove to Cologne where Hady picked me up to drive to Schloss Auel. Iam a history nerd. I´m not kidding. As a child I wanted to grow up to dig for lost cities, bones and treasures. Well, nowadays I dig for vintage clothes and funny things. So off course I informed myself and found out that even Napoleon stayed at this castle once! And so we went to see his room (and shot in Napoleons bathtube.... We´ll see how those turn out). To our surprise the room and the bed were TINY. Like.... Half of my apartment. 15 squaremeters maybe? I laid down on his bed to see what it must feel like to be Napoleon and it seems his ghost liked it as it opened a wardrobe door all by itself when we shot in another room later.

Anyway.... Here are the first pics from this shooting :-)

I can´t decide wether I like the colour or the black and white version better?!
