The bargain hunter strikes again!

Hello everyone,

I bought some nice new things for myself because I am a good girl using my "Your Shape Fitness Evolved 2012" and "Zumba Rush" programs for the xbox 360. It was time to give myself a treat especially after I realised the setting to Your Shape were wrong so I burned 3 times as much as the program told me! I guess this means I can start a cheese cake orgy without the least bad conscience ;-) 

The fact that some nice sales were going on helped A LOT ;-)

I bought this lovely Curvy Kate bra and a matching Panty at Brastop and can really recommend them if you are on the big chested side of the rack. I got the set already and it´s comfortable and looks fantastic. Will HAVE to shoot with it soon! You can still grab a lot of delicious bargains. The dress was technically a gift from John. I sported it in the Trashy Diva sale! I got two of their Trixie dresses some years ago which were nothing but divine!!! But the dresses are usually out of my price range, so I could only admire them from a far.However this dress includes about all I need in a dress: It´s pretty, it has great detail and features many of my favourite colours and many colors that go with my eye color! There was NO WAY I could resist! Would have LOVED to buy wayyyy more but I really need to save up at the moment. I am sure I will use it in an upcoming shooting.

Next week I will be having vacation for 2 weeks and 2 days. It will be so great! Most of it will be spend at home but I have high hopes I can work on my pile of things to sew and alter (and off course relax as well :-)

Beauty Bargains yay or nay?

Hi everyone,

there are 3 things I like a lot: Vintage clothes, pin ups and pretty make up. This is why I ask: Would you like to read about pretty make up bargains and stuff here more often?

I really love the German drugstore brand Alverde because a) it is natural cosmetic b) for an affordable price c) with great quality (I have some of their eye shadows, blushes, the camouflage powder, lipsticks, foundations and gel eyeliners) And so I love that they have a sale on some nice products right now.

Berry Baked Blush, Spice Baked Blush (I think those were 1,95 € each) and turqoise baked eye shadow for 1,75 €. Because it is a rainy day and Iam a bit bored I used it to make a photo on my actual eye In action: Nyx white pearl as highlighter, Alverde turqouise as main eyeshadow, Alverde Gel Eyeliner in black and the berry blush

Don´t worry folks, I have not forgotten about the shapewear post that I plan to make. I just need to wait for a weekend with good light conditions in my apartment and till Iam patient enough to set up the camera by myself (and believe me, it´s very unnerving till it is set to exactly the right height if you don´t have a body double that will stand there till you are done...

The WKD sale

it is finally here... The long expected sale day. (Ok, not that long as it was announced around X-Mas, but it FELT like years!) And after refreshing their website for 2 hours (I forgot there´s one hour time difference!!! stupid me) I grabbed the bargains I wanted and more!

Hi folks!

I don´t really like to get older. See, I´ll have my 27th birthday in two weeks and I don´t feel a day older than 21. It seems really true that a woman never gets older than that.

Not that 21 was a especially good time for me, I can´t even remember any particular event that happened during that age (in Germany we can drink beer when we´re 16 and harder stuff with 18, so 21 has not in the least any meaning as a age). And actually I look younger now than I looked when I was like 18.

Every year I moan around before the birthday is finally gone and to my surprise I still feel I´m the same person once it´s come and gone. hmmmmm.... And John moans cause he´ll be 35 two days after my birhtday *lol* (I already have his birthday-present). I also find it unfortunate to have my birthday so soon after X-Mas since I allways have problems to find things to wish for that my relatives can actually get. I´m the queen of wish-lists, but they just manage to order something at amazon (which is great, don´t get me wrong, but I can actally check what they bought for me there *lol*).
I could name them tons of lingerie to order for me, but as they have neither credit-card nor papypal it wouldn´t make sense to give them those lists :-D Do you think it´s weird I´d ask my relatives for lingerie? When I was 19 and got my first corset on ebay my Mom badly wanted to try it, too. That´s weird for most people I guess ;-)

Oh I actually bought something at the What Katie did ebay account and I curiously wait what else they put on ebay. I already got me 3 pairs of seamed stockings for a super-low price so I can actually wear my stockings outdoors without the bad conscience of might destroying them. I´m so scared of runners and tears that I mostly wear them for shootings, but I love my stockings and would love to wear them more often. Buying those was the perfect solution for my dilemma :-)

I don´t really need to tell you that I took the vanity case, the Cool set and the glazes, right? It´s a great chance to get high quality make up for both daily life and photoshoots for a extremely low price. Oh I love sales!!!

I actually wanted to finish some cute shorts that I started to sew... But...well... the past evenings my boyfriend and me watched the first season of "Scrubs" and at least 6-8 episodes in a row each evening. Oh I love that show. It´s the only hospital-series that I can seriously enjoy ;-) But well.... I will continue with the shorts NOW!

Today I got a email that 4 of my photos will be featured on http://www.fotocommunity.de at the 13th of May between 0:00 am and 1:00 am (MET). It´s funny cause eventhough I had seen other features there before it never occured to me that I could ask them since I´m not really mainstream or a typical example of a user. So I was incredible surprised they asked me. It´s a pitty that probably most of the users will be out to party or will be sleeping by that time, but hey... I don´t complain about some extra-exposure ;-)
