Heute bin ich aufgewacht und wollte nochmal schnell auf Facebook schauen um zu sehen was es neues gibt bevor ich frühstücke und mich für das Shooting mit Lucky Lola fertig mache! Und was sehe ich da?

Sari - the German Pin up Girl Trailer

Hello everyone,

For two weekends I have been filming with the lovely ladies from Die Frau mit dem Bart Productions for a new documentary. Christin and Claudia are the masterminds behind the German Documentary classic "Rockabilly Ruhrpott" which they did a few years back that still has mutliple re-runs every year in German tv and has recently started to pop up in the US as well. Back in the day they interviewed me for this documentary and now got back to me about doing an documentary about me and my pin up modelling. In this documentary you will also meet my friend Anni who has known me for roughly 15 years and the lovely folks at Lucky Lola where we were doing a little shooting.

I can´t tell you yet when this will be broadcasted and where it will be as negotiations with tv stations are still in progress, but I will keep you up to date. Meanwhile you can enjoy the trailer and a few funny Making off photos :-)

cause I can´t leave the house I get things done that I did not find the time for yet... I updated my galleries and news on www.retro-model.de and added the Guten Abend RTL Video from last year to youtube.

So how did it go?

I´m sure you wonder how it was with the tv-team ;-)

It started off at my home with tons of lightning (and that was damn hot). Now what looks natural and normal in the video has to be repeated many many times. Plus: Never stare in the camera. Which was the hardest part for me. However I worked with a very nice team eventhough they were very strict with what to do so it was ok :-)

Waaaay later than planned we arrived at the workshop and they off course filmed preparations, the girls during shooting, me styling them etc. And than came the big surprise for the girls: We went outdoor with our outfits to snap some pics there - in a shopping street while the tv-team caught impressions ot the people around which went from "Freaks" to "oh I remember that´s how people walked around after war" and "they look fab, but I wouldn´t dare to walk around like that".

After 10,5 hours of massive filming and styling I fell into my bed and in a deep sleep shortly...

Thanks to the amazing and talented ladies, off course to Jean for taking fab pics, our wonderfull sponsors providing us with make up, t-shirts, stockings and vouchers and our strict but very nice TV-team taking care of us! You all were great!

The report will be broadcasted in 10-12 days as a part of RTL Punkt 12. Try to catch it if you can (And can someone please record it for little me??? It takes a few weeks until the tv-channel can make a copy for us!!!)

stress stress stress

So.... I´m extremely busy tidying up my apartment for the interview this week. Question: How to keep 30 squaremeters nice and tidy? Whoevercan answer that is welcome to drop me a mail ;-)

I´m extremely busy right now. This weekend I had a shooting as it was cooling down and I was in the mood for it (plus I really wanted a pic of a hair-thingie I made for my shop ;-)

So now I´m back to tidying up - we don´t want to shock the tv-folks, right? right? Otherwise a nice docu might turns into a "look how horrid pin up girls are living"-stuff... Plus off course I wanna please everyone. TV, my ladies, the photographer, myself. So I´m working hard.

Weird...

I just happened to watch a "mens magazine" in TV while pinning a shirt I wanna alter and I was absolutely confused. The report shown was nothing that actually interests men. It was more for women on how to shop the right bra size for you and if a cheaper or a more expensive bra will stand more pullig ba a car... Not exactly helpfull. the only thing appealing to men was surely that the lady wore two or three bras to sisply how important the right sizing is. Anyway in my mind rather a information for ladies... Dear male readers: Are you seriously interested in whether acheaper or more expensive bra can resist more car-pulling? I guess your worry is more if the size you actually bought for your girlfrined/wife is actually the right one? ;-) Maybe if she had danced around in her bras I had believed that this is supposed to be for men... Anyway I´m seriously disappointed by the program. John would just switch the channel if he was here. (but than again he shakes his head when I spend hour admiring lingerie-websites).

Today I actually wanna film my actions that I do on a weekend. I hope it will turn out nicely since I have to film it all myself (means I allways got to find a place the camera so people can actually see what I´m doing. I started of and already took a few minutes of footage and I hope I´ll stay brave and keep it up... John will visit his best friend tommorow so I have plenty of time this weekend ;-)
