The bargain hunter strikes again!

Hello everyone,

I bought some nice new things for myself because I am a good girl using my "Your Shape Fitness Evolved 2012" and "Zumba Rush" programs for the xbox 360. It was time to give myself a treat especially after I realised the setting to Your Shape were wrong so I burned 3 times as much as the program told me! I guess this means I can start a cheese cake orgy without the least bad conscience ;-) 

The fact that some nice sales were going on helped A LOT ;-)

I bought this lovely Curvy Kate bra and a matching Panty at Brastop and can really recommend them if you are on the big chested side of the rack. I got the set already and it´s comfortable and looks fantastic. Will HAVE to shoot with it soon! You can still grab a lot of delicious bargains. The dress was technically a gift from John. I sported it in the Trashy Diva sale! I got two of their Trixie dresses some years ago which were nothing but divine!!! But the dresses are usually out of my price range, so I could only admire them from a far.However this dress includes about all I need in a dress: It´s pretty, it has great detail and features many of my favourite colours and many colors that go with my eye color! There was NO WAY I could resist! Would have LOVED to buy wayyyy more but I really need to save up at the moment. I am sure I will use it in an upcoming shooting.

Next week I will be having vacation for 2 weeks and 2 days. It will be so great! Most of it will be spend at home but I have high hopes I can work on my pile of things to sew and alter (and off course relax as well :-)

When women love too much.... A Film Noir Story

It was a dark and cold Friday evening. "I go playing poker with the guys" he had said. Not the first time for sure. He did this very often lately. However his beautiful fiance Tedrodo Toxin didn´t mind. She figured she´d just spend a calm evening at home reading and possibly do some laundry.... Well, his favourite coat could use a washing. Clark had a tendency to forget things in his pockets. Usually things such as dollar bills or cigarettes, so it was allways advisable to check before soaking his things in. This time he had forgotten something else in them.... A very fatal mistake.

Oh, she knew that woman on the photo, a lady of a more than questionable reputation and suddenly so many things started to make sense and some appeared in a entirely new light. Slowly a plan started to form in her head. She would have him all for herself and get some garbage out of town.

 Later that night Miss Sari von Bolanden received  message. "He was only here yesterday" she thought, however was not the kind of lady to turn down the request for an rendevous. She´d better get there quick she figured. He never had that much time "Business, you know" he used to say but never gave details which business it actually was. Whatever... She put on her little keyhole number and got ready to go...

 A thick fog was all over the harbor and it was as dark as the human soul. Nobody that saw the distant silhouette of  this stranger would have thought much of it. However there was nobody around at this place anyway. Nobody that is, exept for some rats it the corners. 

"Hello honey" she said and threw herself into her lovers arms. But something was not quiet right this time around.  She got goose bumps and thought "It must be the cold night" and at first she couldn´t tell why this strange feeling of terror was creeping up her skin. "It must be this damn fog" she thought. But than she looked up and the cold pretty face she looked at sure did not belong to her lover. Terrified she freed herself and attempted to run away, but it was to late.

 "Good night bitch!" was the last thing she heard. Ever.

When Werner contacted me to do a Film Noir Shooting I immediately knew I wanted to be on board. The weather however prevented us doing it as soon as we wanted to. In the end we split the session into two parts to at least get started. We shoot the indoor scenes in my own apartment which made it the most convenient shooting for me ever. As I had shot with Werner before we even had the photos at hand that Tetrodo Toxin than could find in Clarks pockets. 

Part two happened a few days later at the harbor of Düsseldorf. We were lucky cause this time it did not rain.

Valentines Day is surely improving!

1989: My grandmother died

1999-2003 and 2005 - 2006: the "oh no one will ever love me" depressions (most of us have been there I guess) 

2004: a fight in snowy streets including me beeing thrown down on the street and me giving a guy  the first and only slap I ever gave.

2007 - 2010: Yay at least I have a sweet boyfriend eventhough he doesn´t do anything on V-Day

2011: a paper heart from a gay friend

2012: a valentines day breakfast, a plant that will hopefully blossom soon, 3 cards (ok, two were from children:-), 3 roses and a little bag of candy from unknown sources and John wants to get some chinese food for us tonight!

Iam thrilled to actually have sort of a REAL Valentines Day for the first time in my life!!! (though the paper heart 2011 was very very sweet, too!)

The Ukulele arrived!!!

Hello everyone,

it took almost 2 weeks, but my Ukulele arrived! After some first difficulties ("I think you have to hold it in the other hand!") and so far fruitless atempts of playing "Frere Jaques" which is recommended as the first song to learn on many websites, I figured I make a quick photoshooting with my self timer because I got a lovely blue 50s laundry box the same day and it all goes nicely with my walls!

 And while I was at it I figured I take some "naughty" ones. Well, naughty for me anyway. Those nudies are so implied, you can barely call them nudies!

As it got dark outside the second picture didn´t turn out, but because of the unsharpness due to slight movement it looks like Iam rocking hard, so let´s just pretend I intended it to be this way and it is art...

Trivia... Last week I reposted an oooold photo from one of my self timer shootings and ended up having like 130 Likes on my own site and one that shared it. If you don´t follow me on Facebook and now wonder what marvelos photo this must be.... It´s actually just my butt :-D Go figure!

Must go practice my ukulele now....

Random things I bought for shootings....

Surprisingly cheap feather fans! We´ll see how the quality is once I get them. As long as they don´t fall apart during the shooting I will be happy. Plus there is a lovely pink petticoat I can match them with... still need matching heels and a fascinator and Iam ready to go!

 What´s more to add than that LOVE them!

I actually plan to use that Ukulele in "real life", too. I want to learn how to play "Happy Birthday" based on the fact that I had  my birthday last week and that there are 16 other January babies were I work! I´m zero musical, but I heard it´s the easiest to learn instrument. We´ll see...

 Corset Boulevard had a sale on ebay. Not comparable with a custom made corset, but hey, it´ll be nice for a shooting! I have the green version and I ordered a different blue one as well.

Extensions! If your hair colour is goddamnf*ckingred and you only find hair pieces as Karneval approaches go for it!!! I can extend my hair to almost Waist lenght now!

Only thing missing.... the photographer! All but my dirndl shooting got postphoned so far which is extremely boring and frustrating!

Things of beauty!

Hello everyone,

the new year started and I haven´t blogged for 10 days. Why? Sick and busy. It only took over two weeks to overcome the horrible cold I was having. And busy, busy work days in addition to that!

Well, but I won´t bore you with how busy and sick I was... I rather show you.... Some things of beauty!

I went to Stuttgart last weekend for a lovely Dirndl Shooting and I spent the night with the lovely and beautiful Ms. Lili Marleen! Technically we´ve known for 6 years or so - but only over the Internet. Considering how long we´re pin uping (and she: burlesque-ing) around we are Germanies Pin up Grandmas. It really was a great stay! And I hope to see her again soon!

 Enjoying a huuuuuuuuge and yummy breakfast in the Grand Cafe Planie, a verrrrry beautiful place!!!!!

 I attended my first fleamarket this year. I went over it once - found nothing. When I left I spotted this freaky green hat. I guessed it would be darn expensive, but asked for the price anyway. Only 10 €!!! Iam not sure it will actually suit me and I have nothing to go with it, but that was a bargain too good to resist!!! The sales lady said someone remarked to her he/she has seen Marlene Dietrich wearing a similar hat in a movie! If anyone knows the movie, please point me into the right direction! Would love to see. 

You just spotted something yellow? Those are ear rings one of my fantastic work mates gave to me. Have I lately mentioned that I have the worlds greatest work mates in my day job?????

Minus having been sick a great start for the year!!! :-)

Xmas is over and Iam sick and tired

Hello everyone,

on the 23rd of December I headed home to celebrate Xmas with my family, acompanied by the leftovers of a cold. By the 26th it seemed to be gone, but now it is back in full power and all the things I planned to do (tidying up, shopping, getting all the stuff off the storage room etc) have to wait! Because I start to shoot again next week and heve to be back on my feet by than. HOWEVER! One thing cheered me up and it is a photo of my last shooting in 2011!

 I truely long for warmer days and it´s only the start of December!

 you wonder how we achieved this effect? Well, we had an assistant throw water at me. Believe me it´s not easy to resist the reflex to blink in that moment :-)

Playing with my hair.... 1 pin curl set - 4 looks

Hello everyone,

during fall break I managed to get my hair cut and last Saturday I started a new attempt to bleach a streak into my hair. It worked wayyyyyy better than last time! Today beeing a day off I got to play with it....

And here are the results...

No. 1: Front rolls with open hair in the back...

 No. 2: This is not sooooo much different from look 1. In this version I curled the hair in the back a bit under and pinned them together

 No.3: When Iam lazy I like to go with 60s look. Some teasing of the crown and Ian ready to go!

No.4: And often I´ll just make a 60s updo when the hair is loosing curl and I just wanna opt for something easy :-)
