8 years of Pin uping

Once upon a time...

there was a little country girl named Sari, growing up in the terrible wilderness of Odenwald (That is one hour behind Frankfurt, almost at the Bavarian border in the middle of nowhere). She was allways different and couldn´t even tell why. "Why are you so weird?" did the farm girls ask while the farm boys lit their torches. "I had no idea Iam beeing weird at all!" said Sari and ran off cause this was no safe place to be.

She ran off to Düsseldorf, which is way more far away from Frankfurt, unless you take the Intercity Express. Beeing in a city her weirdness did not stand out as much as it used to.

That was until she found a magic pin up book and started to do pin up modelling...

6 years as a pin up girl!!!

Hi everyone,

somehow the pin up gods are against me. My shootings for May have been cancelled (one due weather, one due time problems of the photographer). One can tell I´m a bit frustrated (but looking for new shootings nethertheless). So I was very happy when Lisa Freemont Street contacted me and asked me to be her "Pin up Peek May 2010". Lisa is an American Retro Hairstyle and Make up Guru with an youtube channel that you HAVE to suscribe to if you really REALLY wanna learn how to do pin up styles. I´m a fan since a long time! Lately she has started to feature a monthly pin up. The past months were the beautifull ladies Doris MayDay and Fleur DeGuerre, so I´m happy to be added to this illustrious circle :-)

Pin up Anniversary - free cookies for everyone

So yeah, finally the time has come! I´m officially a pin up since 4 years!!!! Incredible! To me it feels like I started yesterday.

Eventhough I got to admit many many things canged since. Back when I started I weighted 10-13 Kilo less, however I had a hard time finding any sponsors which is now not the case anymore (so much about thatyou got to be skinny to be sucessfull as a model). In my first photos you never see me smile biggle cause I had complexes about my teeth until I tested to smile biiiiig and realised it doesn´t look that bad - rather good. And at first I didn´t like stockings since they are considered so naughty nowadays - until I realised what they can do for my legs. I learned to sew cause it´s cheaper than buying every shooting-outfit yourself. Yes I did learn a lot in those 4 years (including how to do my hair). 

I have got to know where lovely people and barely any bad-natured ones. Unfortunetly at the same time I saw many international pin up girls come and go. Many of those that were active back in the days are just not around any more. However I´m allways glad to see new pics of a familiar face or realise they model for any companies I know. After all we all are sort of sisters in spirit and more or less everyone knows everyone (at least those that have been around for a while)!


 

And I think to myself it´s a wonderfull world!

Anniversary

Hi everyone!

Today it´s 2 years since John became the sun of my life!

How did we actually met? I´m member at www.rockabilly-forum.de and still post there today. And so was he. Someday he realised that the new girl in the company looked somehow familiar to him and he realised "That´s Sari from the forum!!!". So he dropped me a message to find if it´s really me and right he was! So we started spending more and more time together until he permanently moved in both my apartment and my heart :-)

John, thank you for the two most wonderfull years of my life! You are my sunshine! You are the one that picks me up when I´m down, that dries my tears when I´m sad and that listens to me even when I don´t make sense! You are the best thing that ever happened, my giggle-goblin. Ich hab dich soooooooooooo lieb!!!! :-*




By the end of next week I´ll have wonderfull news for my readers!!!
