Random, but with many pictures :-D

Hi everyone,
this is a random post about my weekend and other stuff :-D

As I feel a bit out of power since the beginning of the week I just went to the mall on Saturday. No tidying up. No hand laundry. no sewing. Just a trip to the mall.

There I got my zipper stuck in a dress so bad that I had to get out ofthe changing room and had to find a saleslady to help me out of this dilemma. I think this is the worst shopping nightmare that can happen to a lady. Despite the fact that I totally lost the drive to try on any more dresses I bought me some cute acessoires on H & M. I LOVE cameos. The fact that they had matching brooches and earings made it even worse...

When I got home I put things on ebay. Check them out cause a lot of it wasn´t even offered on my blog before. I´m open towards international shiping, but contact me on ebay first - you´d have to do that anyway to ask how much the shippings costs. Most things have a 40 inch bust. Exept for the polka dotted and the turqouise dress.

John said to me that by summer 2011 he wants us to move into a bigger apartment. My nesting mode is activated. I already browsed a book on how to decorate your home from the 50s and I found adorable pictures in a sewing book as well. I share them with you as I find them very inspiring!!! John will star to look for a better paid job, we will start to look for an apartment with 2-3 rooms (this seems like total luxury for me after living on 30 squaremeters for the past 8 years!) and I think about interieur...

In the same book I found colour recommndations for women. Detailed ones! Not like "if you have blond hair you can wear blue." more like "if you have blond hair and your eyes are brown you can wear this and that shade of blue!". It´s in German, but they are a nice guideline I think. Isn´t it weird that guidelines in a book from the 50s are way more detailed than the recommendations that you can read in modern magazines? go figure!
