Love, what is it?

Hearts are like vases. And they get thrown on the ground by people that do not value them. You pick up the broken pieces again and glue it together. Some pieces go missing on the way and you can´t find them. But than there are times where no one is throwing it down anymore and this is when you can reconstruct. You can repaint the decor where you had to repair and maybe some day you get lucky because it is treasured and adored the way it is, repaired, imperfect but a survivor. This is love.

My First Latex Photo

I already showed you the Making off Photos from my shooting with Viewture (just in case you missed those: http://retromodelsari.blogspot.com/2011/01/making-off-red-queen-and-latex.html) and here is the first finished photo I just got:

I was allways tempted to do something with Latex clothes, but the really really nice and pretty stuff is out of my price range so I made all the clothes for this shooting myself - or better said: I took pieces that I got on ebay for a cheap price and customized them till they looked like what I had in mind. Originally the playsuit worn on that picture looked like this:


Plain and not very special, but with adding some trim, a bow and polks dots I spiced it up for my pin up needs.... As I have two versions of the pic and love it in both the closer one and the one with the polka dotted stockings I just post BOTH of it :-D

Making off.... The red Queen and Latex

this weekend I did a little trip to Cologne to shoot with View Ture http://viewture.de.

It was a lot of fun and we made many beautyfull photos. Damn was it hard to make a preselection! I got permission to show you some of the Making off photos already though.

It´s latex time! Denise´boyfriend Steven was getting us some helium baloons to go with my outfit!

Making cute things with a naughty material

Hi everyone,

I hope you arrived in 2011 in a fantastic way. Every year is exiting cause we do not know what lies ahead. I hope to get more things done than last year. I´m tired of working, getting home and than doing nothing. I wanna do more crafty stuff for my shootings. And I just started with it. With a new material to match!

Latex is a material mostly associated with dominas, women in gasmasks and a kinky lifestyle by the mainstream. However what is not taken into consideration: It is a damn good looking material, relatively easy to use and you can do cute things with it!

I bought this Latex Mini Skirt on ebay for a few bucks with the idea of making a cute and quirky girdle out of it! You can really make a bargain with those. In fact I bought a second one for 11 € including shipping to make one more!

Everything looks cuter with ruffles and hearts. I know the glue is supposed to be transparent before you stick the pieces together, but I was impatient!!!! Next time I will be a good girl cause the liquid glue can make ugly marks on the shiny material. I learned it the hard way! Note how I found an additional use for the hairclips with that I usually pin curl my hair!

I carefully marked the hem with a gel pen to glue my dried ruffles there in the most possible even way...

Tada!!! Now I will just need to make a top to go with it and add the suspenders! Ignore the glue marks on the finished result. If anyone knows a good way to get rid of the marks let me know! I already tried alcohole and water. This is the second latex piece I ever made and I will be doing a shooting with it hopefully soon!!!

Naughty or Nice? In any case: sexy

Hi everyone!

I bought this beauuuuuuutifull skirt at www.buy-unlike.com They have a special right now where you can grab a fab bargain every day. (Well worth checking out!!!) Usually the skirt costs 69,90 €, but now it was 30 €. You cannot blame me!

With all the Xmas shopping that went on and more shopping (...) I have to wait for January to get a matching top though...

Two ideas spring to my mind...

The obvious choice. Very sweet and I can actually wear it to work with a nice cardi! Supercute!

The kinkier choice that I can actually hardly wear outside, unless I go to some event which honestly I rarely do or for a shooting... Latex!

Imagine that one worn as a top to go with the skirt plus maybe a petticoat in light pink to make it even more over the top? I saw that one on ebay and it looks delicious!

Can´t I be both naughty and nice???

And now to something completely different

"Would you like to do another shooting the day before our Pin p animal Rescue Shooting?" that´s what Zoe Scarlett asked me. I said off course "yes" cause while I´m in Switzerland anyway and have the chance to work with some really great photographer I do it. Now the deal was to do something different colourfull. The concept was colourfull 80s doll-style and I couldn´t imagine what is meant by that?!

So I arrived in Basel and we went to Mr. Wünsch and Mr. Merz and they showed what they had prepared for us... Our outfits are actually stripes of latex that me and the photographer cut in pieces and draped around our bodies and heads. In the end we looked like the lovechild of nuns and the teletubbys and sometimes like turkish fetish models with those scarf-like things around our head. I wouldn´t be surprised if we get strange request from Turkish fetish magazines now ;-)

Well, it really turned to be something different as usual, but beeing a weird person I like to try weird stuff. ;-) Here´s the first pic that I "stole" from Myspace ;-) There will probably be more pics of the shoot soon.
